Does T0 ever expire?
No. T0 is free forever. It runs completely offline with no account required. You download the disk image, flash it to a Pi, and it runs for as long as the hardware does. No subscription, no check-in, no expiry.
What is Fix My Pi?
d3kOS runs a full remote diagnostic on your Pi and attempts to automatically restore any broken services. A detailed report is saved to your account. T1 users can request it for $29.99 per incident. T2 includes 3 per month. T3 is unlimited.
Can I switch tiers?
Yes, anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access until then.
What happens if I cancel T2 or T3?
Your account reverts to T1 at the end of your billing period. Your data and voyage history are preserved. Nothing is deleted.
Is T1 really free? What's the catch?
No catch. T1 is free because it helps us build a community and a user base. You create an account, pair your Pi, and we get useful (anonymised) data about how d3kOS is used in the real world. That's the exchange. No ads, no selling your data.
