Software Warranty

d3kOS is open-source software distributed under the GNU General Public License v3 (GPL v3). As stated in the GPL v3:

"This program is distributed in the hope that it will be useful, but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE."

We provide Fix My Pi as a best-effort diagnostic and restoration service, but we do not warrant that d3kOS will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every engine, sensor, or network configuration.

Hardware

AtMyBoat.com does not manufacture or sell hardware. The d3kOS system runs on commercially available components (Raspberry Pi 4B, off-the-shelf sensors, displays, and enclosures). Warranty for those components is provided by their respective manufacturers.

Marine Safety

d3kOS is a supplementary intelligence tool. It is not certified marine navigation equipment and must not be used as a primary or sole navigation aid. Always carry certified navigation equipment, follow Transport Canada boating regulations, and exercise proper seamanship. AtMyBoat.com accepts no liability for incidents arising from reliance on d3kOS for safety-critical decisions.
